Loren Anthony, who recently appeared in AMC’s Dark Winds with Zahn McClarnon, tells Native Viewpoint, “Native Metal is alive and well!”
It’s been a minute since Navajo actor Loren Anthony has shredded on his guitar. But believe it when I say there were no signs of rust on his metal guitar strings.
Anthony, a member of the Navajo Nation, who recently appeared in an episode of Dark Winds, showed his epic guitar-shredding skills at the Navajo Nation Metal Fest with a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

In his tweet, Anthony, who used to play with his metal band Bloodline, wrote:
“The homecoming love was overwhelming, my return to the stage was an amazing & emotional experience. Thank you to all my friends who continued to hold me in their hearts. I had a great time as the guest bassist for the rising metal band #HellThrone at the Navajo Nation Metal Fest.”
As Anthony told Native Viewpoint, “Native Metal is alive and well!”
Here is his post. Before you listen, turn your volume knob all the way up!
