Marvel’s ‘Echo’ series — starring Alaqua Cox — is casting for pow wow dancers and singers. All dance categories and ages are welcomed.
The new Marvel series ‘Echo’ starring Native American and deaf actress Alaqua Cox, is now casting for competitive powwow dancers and singers.
According to Midthunder Casting and Freihofer Casting, the two agencies have teamed up for background performers.
According to the casting website created for the effort at www.echopowwowextras.com, the production is looking for singers and dancers to film outside Atlanta, Georgia for about 2-3 weeks near the end of July and early August, 2022.

Background performers are compensated $135 a day for up to 12 hours of filming. For those that live over 100 miles away, additional living expenses of up to $125 a day, plus $350 travel expenses could be covered.
The two casting companies listed on the site include the following:
Midthunder Casting has cast Indigenous actors for such productions as and the FX on Hulu hit Reservation Dogs, Rutherford Falls, Longmire, Comanche Moon, Hostiles, Captain Fantastic, The West and many, many more.
Freihofer Casting has cast Indigenous background performers and extras for such productions as Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, Reservation Dogs, and films like Minari, Stillwater, American Honey, American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story, and many, many more.
“We have teamed up and are now looking for background performers to appear in the upcoming Marvel Streaming Series ECHO,” cite the casting companies.
